Leaders In Service is a unique workshop that combines
a community service experience with a business-focused seminar
to build employee engagement, leadership and teamwork. The
workshop begins with a community service day in your community,
taking your team to a service organization you already support
or addressing a new need in the community. The second
day is a tailored curriculum bringing the experiences and learning
from the previous day to address the burning issues from the
workplace.

Program Details
Leaders In Service is a highly customized 2 days designed
for work teams of 10 to 25 participants.
Compass Group assists in choosing and planning the service
day. The design uses the service experience as a way
to re-discover the principles in effective teamwork and to
create a group that can support one another in application
back at work. Consequently one of the criteria for an
effective community service project is that it actively engages
a group of 10 to 25 participants. Past projects include
a Habitat for Humanity house build, children’s hospital,
soup kitchen and youth home.
The second day of the workshop is designed to meet the team
and business needs of your group. In addition to linking the
lessons from the service day to work challenges, teams may
focus on:
• Work on a team strategy or initiative
• Lessons of effective leaders
• Personal responsibility for mindsets and attitudes
• The value of diversity
• A support plan to continue the team learning back on the job
